Audi enters the supercar arena
Audi has unveiled the 2008 R8 and from first glances it is apparent that this is Audi taking a direct shot at Porsche
’s 911, with its first ever mid-engine sports car. With its purchase of Lamborghini Audi has transferred many of it skills and technology directly into it main division. The R8 uses the mid-engine Lamborghini platform.
